2017 Market Goat Sale Buyers Print E-mail




The 5th Annual Frederick County Fair Market Goat Sale was held on Friday August 4, 2017.

Thirty-six Goats totaling 2,592 pounds were sold at a gross income of $18,342.75.  The average price was $7.82 per pound.

The Frederick County Fair Association and the youth of 4-H and FFA deeply appreciate the continuing support of the many individuals and businesses who expressed their interest in the youth of our community.

Grand Champion Market Goat– Purchased by MidAtlantic Farm Credit for $7.25/lb.

Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat – Purchased by Newtown Creamery for $10.25/lb
