2018 Market Hog Sale Buyers Print E-mail




The 38th Annual Frederick County Fair Market Hog Sale was held on Friday, August 3, 2018.

Fifty-six hogs totaling 13,658 pounds were sold at a gross income of $48.522.80.  The average price was $3.55 per pound.

The Frederick County Fair Association and the youth of 4-H and FFA deeply appreciate the continuing support of the many individuals and businesses who expressed their interest in the youth of our community.

Grand Champion Hog – Purchased by Virginia Riggers for $5.00/lb

Reserve Grand Champion Hog – Purchased by White House Foods for $5.25/lb.
