Bright Stars Goat Show Print E-mail

BRIGHT STARS GOAT SHOW

The Frederick County Fair is delighted at the opportunity to offer our 2nd Annual “Bright Stars Goat Show” at the 2017 Fair. The show will take place on Thursday morning, August 3rd in the Show Barn on the fairground premises at 9:00 a.m. The show is open and specifically designed for those who are enrolled in a Frederick County School and in middle or high school with a developmental disability.

Those individuals who wish to participate will be paired with a 4-H or FFA exhibitor who is currently exhibiting a goat project at the 2017 Fair. Participants will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the goat and their helper as we encourage children to arrive at the barn a half hour prior to the 9:00 a.m. show time.

During the show, each child will be announced as they enter the ring. Their name, age, school, favorite hobbies and why they were excited to show in “The Bright Stars Goat Show” will be shared with the audience. We ask that a parent or guardian accompany each child during the event.

For more information, please contact Kyley Clevenger at (540)303-0978 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
